Lost XTE Tag

Readers get left on trains, in cafés and in hotel rooms. Put your contact details on the sleep screen of your Xteink reader running CrossPoint, so whoever finds it can get it back to you.

Install it on the reader

  1. Copy sleep-overlay.png to the root of the SD card. For several overlays picked at random, put them in a .sleep-overlay folder instead.
  2. In CrossPoint, open Settings → Display and turn on Sleep Screen Overlay.
  3. Pick any Sleep Screen: Cover shows your book's cover with the banner on top, Current Screen keeps the page you were reading.
  4. Scan the QR code on the reader with your phone once, to check that it works.

The overlay toggle needs a CrossPoint build that includes it. On older builds, use the Transparent sleep screen instead.
